And while having a full mechanic’s setup is not realistic for most people, we have compiled a list of 3 liquid fixes that are inexpensive and easy to find that will help you make sure you are able to run maintain your car even as the mileage stacks up.

  1. Gas Line Antifreeze and Water Remover

Even if you live in a warmer climate, if you do any amount of traveling to colder locations, having a bottle of gas line anti freeze ever handy in your car is a surefire way to help make sure that your lines are never frozen and you don’t have to suffer through waiting on the side of the road in the snow and ice for an elusive good Samaritan to help you out.

  1. Penetrating Oil/WD-40

Regardless of which brand you select, having a liquid lubricant ever handy in your garage is a great way to ensure that DIY projects are easy and painless. No more dealing with stuck bolts or unmovable pieces of metal.

  1. Enzyme Fuel

If you have a car that will be stagnant for a few months than toss a bottle of this into the gas tank and  sit back in awe as your car magically fires up without a problem 6 months from now!
